There’s no formal speaker and no slides — just a light theme\, optional co-working\, and space to talk through real work with other UX folks in Austin. \n\n\n\nThis month’s theme is Stakeholder Reality Check. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat we’ll focus on\n\n\n\nUX work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Research gets questioned. Design gets revised. Priorities shift. \n\n\n\nStakeholder Reality Check is a space to talk honestly about the human dynamics of UX work\, including: \n\n\n\n\nWhen research is ignored\n\n\n\nWhen design decisions get overridden\n\n\n\nNavigating AI enthusiasm (or resistance) from leadership\n\n\n\nInfluencing without formal authority\n\n\n\nManaging competing priorities\n\n\n\n\nNo venting-for-the-sake-of-venting. Just thoughtful conversation about what works\, what doesn’t\, and how we handle it. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\n\nCo-working time to settle in\n\n\n\nOffice hours–style conversations in small groups\n\n\n\nOptional share-out for insights or lessons learned\n\n\n\n\nBring a situation you’re navigating — or just listen and contribute where you can. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho should come\n\n\n\n\nDesigners and researchers at any level\n\n\n\nUX leads and managers\n\n\n\nAnyone working with stakeholders (so… all of us)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy “Unpolished”?\n\n\n\nBecause stakeholder dynamics are rarely tidy.
