There’s no formal speaker and no slides—just a light theme\, optional co-working\, and space to talk through real work with other UX folks in Austin. \n\n\n\nThis month’s theme is AI in the Workflow (What’s Actually Working). \n\n\n\nWhat we’ll focus on\n\n\n\nAI tools are showing up everywhere in UX work—but the reality is messier than the hype. \n\n\n\nThis session is about sharing what’s actually working (and what isn’t)\, including: \n\n\n\n\nWhere AI has saved time or reduced friction\n\n\n\nWhere it’s introduced risk\, bias\, or confusion\n\n\n\nHow people are using AI for research\, synthesis\, design\, or writing\n\n\n\nHow to talk about AI use with stakeholders and teams\n\n\n\n\nNo demos. No pitches. No pressure to be an expert. \n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\n\nCo-working time to settle in and work alongside others\n\n\n\nOffice hours–style conversations around real AI-related UX challenges\n\n\n\nOptional show & tell at the end (5 minutes\, one example\, totally voluntary)\n\n\n\n\nBring a tool\, a workflow\, a concern—or just curiosity. \n\n\n\nWho should come\n\n\n\n\nUX designers and researchers\n\n\n\nProduct folks navigating AI decisions\n\n\n\nPeople experimenting\, skeptical\, or somewhere in between\n\n\n\n\nAll experience levels are welcome. \n\n\n\nWhy “Unpolished”?\n\n\n\nBecause AI-enabled UX work is evolving in real time.
