What this is
Unpolished: UX Office Hours is a monthly, in-person gathering for UX designers and researchers of all experience levels. There’s no formal speaker and no slides—just a light theme, optional co-working, and space to talk through real work with other UX folks in Austin.
This month’s theme is Design in Progress.
What to expect
- Co-working time to settle in and work alongside others
- Office hours–style conversations around design and research challenges
- Optional show & tell at the end (5 minutes, one thing, totally voluntary)
Come to work. Come to ask a question. Come to listen.
What to bring (optional)
- A design, flow, wireframe, or research question you want feedback on
- A laptop—or not. This is intentionally low-pressure.
Who should come
- UX designers, researchers, and strategists
- Students, juniors, seniors, and leaders
- In-house, agency, freelance, and “figuring it out” folks
If you work in UX (or want to), you’re welcome.
Why “Unpolished”?
Because most UX work isn’t a case study yet, and that’s exactly when feedback is most useful. This is a space for honest conversation, half-finished ideas, and learning from each other.
Logistics
- Light snacks and drinks provided
- This is an in-person event in Austin
- Space is limited; please RSVP on Meetup for location details
