This group is designed to teach, mentor, and build the skills of UX professionals, aspiring UX designers and professionals in related industries here in Austin. Our events vary from portfolio reviews to whiteboarding challenges and expert speaker panels.

Virtual learning

UX in ATX hosts virtual, free events with industry experts designed to educate and enhance learning for UX designers in the community

Networking

We provide opportunities for UX designers and researchers to network with each other through in-person social events, such as happy hours and meetups. We have also hosted meetups through SXSW as an official event.

Cindy Brummer

Cindy is is Founder and Creative Director of Standard Beagle Studio, an award-winning experience design agency, providing UX strategy, research and product design. She gives back to the UX community by mentoring, running UX in ATX, and teaching the UX/UI boot camp program through the McCombs School of Business  at the University of Texas at Austin.
