The Content Design Career Path

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, UX in ATX hosted a fireside chat with Tanya Harris, Senior Content Strategist at eBay, about content design and how UX intersects with this discipline.

Tanya is passionate about the words we see. When we open our apps, go to a website, use internal tools at work, or receive an automated email after making a purchase. Starting first as a librarian before dabbling in software engineering (that wasn’t her passion), Tanya transitioned to her content career 10 years ago. She began as a knowledge management intern, then moved into content design and content strategy. She now leads content for customer service at eBay, managing a wide variety of content types for 21 countries and 10 languages.
