The UX Research Career Path

Three amazing panelists joined us for an exciting discussion on the User Experience Research career path. We took a dive deep into this amazing field and how to prepare for it, advance in it and succeed in it.

PANELISTS:

  • Meg Kemp, Alma Major
    A digital expert with 10 years of experience in user research, UX design, human-centered design, service design, enterprise creative strategy, ICT4D, health tech, and digital advocacy with training from Temple University and Johns Hopkins University.
  • Babz Jewell, Verizon Connect
    Babz Jewell is a sociologist by training and chicken-wrangler in practice. She’s currently working with Verizon Connect’s Product Discovery team in Dublin, Ireland, and serves as the organization’s advocate for qualitative research across commercial lines of business.
  • Archie MS, The Design Futures Initiative & GE
    Archie is a UX Design Researcher at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, and a co-organizer of the ATL Speculative Futures chapter. Her journey to UX Research is through her education in architecture, industrial design, and design management. She brings the perspective of being an international person traversing this field in the USA.
