Pour yourself a glass of your favorite vino, and step into the world of user experience design with General Assembly and UX in ATX meetup group!

This free event aims to demystify UX by giving a practical and simple introduction to what User Experience is, while also explaining some of the core concepts of user centered design (UCD). Wireframes are a critical part of the UX design, as they communicate the content and functionality of key pages of a digital experience. We’ll discuss why and how wireframes fit into the overall design process, and then dive into a hands-on exercise where you’ll create your own clickable prototype.

About the Instructor

Shari Bare
User Experience Design Immersive Instructor,
General Assembly

Throughout her 20-year career, Shari’s held a host of titles: UX Designer, Visual Designer, Interactive Designer, Art Director, and even the dreaded title of “Webmaster” in the late 90s. But one thing has remained constant, she’s always been a staunch advocate for the user. She’s created work for Fortune 50 companies like Apple, Citigroup, and Dell, although some of her favorite projects have come from working with scrappy startups. Shari is passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of talented and world-changing designers.

In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom, Shari has been selected as a member of General Assembly’s Distinguished Faculty program.
